Bio

Katelyn's passion for sports and helping others led her to pursue higher education in health and athletic performance. She began her academic journey at Santa Rosa Junior College, where she earned her EMT certification and an Associate’s Degree in Natural Sciences. While at SRJC, she was a pole vaulter on the track and field team and actively involved with the college’s sports medicine program.

Katelyn continued her education at the University of Idaho, where she completed a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise, Sport, and Health Sciences, followed by a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training. In 2025, after returning back to the North State, close to her hometown of Cottonwood, Katelyn welcomed the opportunity to serve the student-athletes at Shasta College with excitement and enthusiasm. She states she is passionate about injury prevention, rehabilitation, and supporting athletes as they achieve their goals. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys being outdoors and staying active through sports and recreation.
