Bio
Coach Chris Gaido reunites with Shasta Knights as a volunteer Men's Soccer Assistant Coach. Coach Gaido previously headed our Lady Knight’s Soccer team as Head Coach for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons. Coach Gaido brings over four decades of soccer coaching experience ranging from developmental leagues, high school teams, and even some international experience in Kenya.
Prior to his coaching career, Chris was a Division-1 soccer player for the University of Evansville. During his time as a student-athlete Chris was an all-conference player while being selected to multiple all-tournament teams.
When not coaching soccer Chris works as a Civil Engineer for Caltrans. He has been married for 19 years to “Monique” and has two grown children named “Becca” and “Noah.” In his free time he enjoys back packing, skiing, cycling, and rock climbing.
