Bio
Assistant Tennis Coach Kurt Champe is a dedicated high school educator with 24 years of teaching experience, currenthly instructing math, art, and robotics at Dunsmuir High School. As he prepares to retire this year, Coach Champe reflects on a long and rewarding career in education and mentorship. In addition to teaching, he is in his third year as an assisant coach for our Shasta College tennis team, bringing over 30 years of experience as a player, instructor, and coach. His time with the team has been especially meaningful, and he takes great pride in the growth and achievements of the student athletes he has worked with.
