WOMEN'S BASKETBALL ADVANCES IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA PLAYOFFS

In an electrifying display of basketball prowess, Shasta triumphed over Taft with a final score of 70-57 in their matchup on February 26, 2025. This game showcased Shasta's dominant performance, particularly in rebounds and field goals, sealing their victory through a well-coordinated team effort.

Shasta led the game from the very first quarter, inching ahead with a narrow 19-18 margin. They maintained their momentum, strengthening their lead by halftime with a score of 35-29. Shasta's ability to maximize their rebounds, particularly on the defensive end, significantly limited Taft's second-chance opportunities.

The Shasta lineup was spearheaded by Graceyn Harlan, who was the top scorer of the game, contributing 19 points. Her presence on the boards was crucial, as she pulled down eight total rebounds, augmenting the team's overall tally of 36 rebounds.
