Shasta came in strong during the second inning, where Callie Kingsbury's single allowed Jordyn Wurzer to score, putting Shasta on the board with a 1-0 lead. The momentum continued in the fifth inning when Bailey Weibling's decisive single brought Raya Vaughn home, extending Shasta's advantage to 2-0.
Despite Siskiyous' efforts, they struggled offensively until the final inning. Nevaeh Harry managed to drive in a run with a single in the seventh, allowing Grace Hubbard to score. However, their rally fell short, culminating in a 2-1 defeat.
